Autodesk Inventor Professional
Autodesk Inventor Professional 10 is an expanded version of Autodesk Inventor® Series with specialized tools for routed systems design and conducting stress and strain analysis.
Start with Autodesk Inventor® Series with specialized functionality for cable and wire harness, tubing and piping, and importing PCB IDF files, and you've got Autodesk InventorR Professional, the best way to connect design teams with manufacturing engineers. Because it can integrate your existing 2D designs into your 3D design environment, it¡¦s a safe and easy path to specialized 3D design.
With Autodesk Inventor Professional, you can quickly and easily :
- Design virtual models of wiring, cables, and harnesses
- Use specialized splice objects to accurately and quickly depict connectivity in harnesses that contain splices.
- Preview changes in a harness segment or wire shape when work points are moved in the design.
- Create tubing, piping, and flexible hosing automatically
- Improve quality, easily organize parts, and eliminate tedious searching with automatic placement of the correct part from an extensive library of piping components.
- Using 3D sketches to derive routes makes it easier to keep pipes par-allel and constrain them to other geometry.
- Analyze part models for strengths and weaknesses
- Integration with DesignSpace 8.1 keeps you current with the latest features and performance improvements from ANSYS.
- Quickly and easily add analysis results to reports by exporting to an animation (AVI) or graphics (BMP) format.
- Gain and communicate a deeper understanding of how a part reacts under stress by animating results of a deflection study and saving as an AVI.
- Create printed circuit board geometry
- Communicate and manage design data
